We collect the information you give us directly: your account details (email, display name), your journal entries, notes, challenges, mood logs, and any media you upload. We also collect minimal technical data (device type, basic usage analytics) to keep the service running.
Your content is yours. We use it to power your personal experience — your journal, recaps, notes, and challenges. Aggregated, de-identified usage data helps us improve the product.
Some features (monthly recaps, surprise notes, surprise quests) send the minimum text needed to a trusted AI provider to generate a response. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train external models.
Content you choose to share (e.g. notes sent to friends, public posts) is visible to the people you share it with. Everything else is private to your account.
You can edit or delete entries at any time, sign out, or request full account deletion by contacting support.
Joyification isn't a medical or crisis service. If you're in crisis, please see our Crisis Support page for immediate help.
